The Vika Rounded is a classic schoolhouse bell in white glass on a brass finished fitting, and it is deliberately quiet. No colour, no ribbing, no visible hardware beyond the collar and the rod. That is what makes it work in a kitchen that already has a lot going on, or in a hallway where the fixture should not be the thing you notice.
The shade is a soft rounded bell, 8.9 in across and 9.6 in high, tapering to a small finial point at the base. It is the more traditional of the two Vika profiles and the one to pick if the room leans classic rather than deco. If you want tiered shoulders and a more angular outline, the Vika Stepped is the other half of the family.
Milk glass is the practical choice as well as the pretty one. It diffuses through the body of the glass rather than off a coating, so the bulb never shows as a bright point, and it hides dust far better than clear glass in a room where nobody is getting a ladder out often.
