Tove Upright | Cordless Natural Stone Accent Table Lamp, 3.5 in

The Tove Upright is a small piece of stone that lights from within. Switched off it reads as an object rather than a lamp, which is the point: it can sit on a shelf, a console or a mantel and look like something you chose rather than something you needed. Switched on, the stone goes translucent and the veining that was barely visible in daylight becomes the whole character of the piece.

This is the taller one, 3.5 in across and 3.5 in high, so it stands rather than sits. On a console, a mantel or an open shelf with nothing behind it, that height is what lets a lamp this small hold its own as a small sculpture. If you need it to stay out of the way on a crowded nightstand instead, the Tove Low Dome is the same width at only 2.2 in high.

There is no cord. A rechargeable battery sits in the base and charges over USB, so the lamp goes where the light is needed rather than where the outlet is. That matters more than it sounds on a dining table, a windowsill or a shelf with nothing behind it.

Two stone tones, both pale. White is the cooler of the two with fine gray veining; honey is a warm cream with darker veins running through it. Because the stone is natural, no two pieces are marked the same way.
