The Tessara Arch hangs its shade from above. A copper arm rises from the backplate, arcs up and over in a gooseneck, and suspends the marble cylinder from the end of the curve, 8.7 in out from the wall. That is the furthest reach of any shape in the family, and it is the one that casts light down onto what is below rather than out across the wall.
The shade is natural marble, cut from quarried stone. Marble is translucent, so it carries the light rather than blocking it, and the veining inside shows as soft cloudy movement whenever the fixture is on. Pattern and depth of tone differ from one piece to the next, so your shade will not match the photograph exactly. The body is copper, finished either as copper or as black.
It takes an E26 (Standard Medium Base) bulb, included and supplied at a warm 3000K, with a knob switch on the fixture. It is built for LED and is not dimmable, so run it from a standard wall switch. That is the temperature marble reads best at. It wires directly into the wall on 110V-120V and is not rated for wet locations.
