Description
Sylvane runs on a variable-frequency DC motor with six speeds and a reverse mode, which is the difference between a fan you notice and one you forget is running. The blades are a copper and ABS composite finished to read as wood grain, lighter and more dimensionally stable than solid timber, and they hold their shape in rooms that swing between humid and dry. The look lands somewhere between Japandi and organic modern.
Four diameters cover most rooms: 36 inches for compact rooms and nooks up to 100 square feet, 42 inches for 100 to 180 square feet, 48 inches for 180 to 300, and 52 inches for 300 to 400 square feet. Six speeds run forward in summer and reverse in winter to push warm air back down into the room. A replaceable LED module handles the light at 28W and 2,400 lumens of warm 3000K, with a color rendering index above 97, so wood finishes and skin tones read true.
Sylvane mounts to a flat ceiling only and is not compatible with vaulted or arched ceilings. It is hardwired, and professional installation is recommended; mounting hardware and a manual are included. Control is by handheld remote, wall switch, or both depending on the variant you order, and only the manufacturer's own wall switch works with it. Third-party wall switches are not supported. The light is not dimmable. Indoor use only.
