Description
Serana is a small marble lamp: a plain cylinder of stone under a fabric drum, with nothing else to it. The whole design rests on the stone, which is why seven marbles are offered rather than a token two. Each is cut so the veining wraps the cylinder, and because it is natural stone no two columns match.
Most sit under the same ivory shade, so switching stone changes the whole lamp without changing anything else. Calacatta Viola is the exception, offered with either that ivory shade or a charcoal one, which darkens the top of the lamp and pushes the violet veining forward.
At 9.8 in (25 cm) tall with a 6.9 in (17.5 cm) shade, this is a compact lamp for a nightstand, a shelf or a desk corner rather than a room light. It runs on 5V USB power rather than a wall socket, so it needs a USB supply or adapter and will also run from a power bank. The LED is built in, so there is no bulb to buy. Indoor dry locations only.
