Description
The Runa is a flat glass disc floating on a slim brass stem above a domed base, and the shape is the reason to buy it. Most table lamps are a shade hiding a bulb. This one is a horizontal plane of light with nothing visible holding it up, which is why it reads as an object on a console rather than a utility on a nightstand.
There is no cord. A rechargeable battery sits in the base and charges over USB-C, so it goes on a dinner table, a windowsill, a bathroom shelf, anywhere with no outlet behind it. The LED is built in and runs three light tones, from warm for evening to neutral for reading, controlled by touch.
The base carries the color, and the shades are specific rather than primary: a soft lake blue, a warm mustard yellow, a deep forest green, a dark oxblood red and a muted sakura pink. Each sits under the same brass stem and pale glass disc, with a small contrasting ball on top, so the lamp reads calm from across a room and only shows its color up close.

A plane of light, not a shade
Most table lamps are a shade hiding a bulb. This one is a flat horizontal disc with nothing visible holding it up, so it reads as an object rather than a utility.
Goes where the outlet is not
A rechargeable battery sits in the base, so it works on a dinner table, a windowsill or a bathroom shelf. Charge it over USB-C from any phone charger.
Color only up close
The base carries the color and the disc stays pale, so the lamp reads calm from across a room and only shows its lake blue, mustard or sakura pink when you are near it.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does it need a bulb?
No. The LED is built into the disc, so there is nothing to buy and nothing to replace. Touch the lamp to cycle three light tones from warm to neutral.
