Lunetta | Marble & Brass Flush Ceiling Light

Lunetta is a flat disc of stone set in a brass ring, mounted tight to the ceiling with almost no drop at all: 11.8 inches across and just 2 inches deep (30 x 5 cm). The LED sits behind the stone, so the disc lights from within and the veining shows through as a faint glow map rather than a flat panel. Switched off it reads as a brass rimmed stone medallion.

Two materials are offered and the difference is real, which is why the prices are so far apart. The marble version is cut from natural stone, so every piece has its own veining and no two discs match. The scagliola version uses the traditional plaster technique that imitates marble, convincing at a glance but not stone. If the veining matters to you, buy the marble; if the look matters and the budget does too, scagliola does the job.

At 2 inches deep Lunetta suits corridors, balconies, studies, bedrooms with a low ceiling, and anywhere a pendant would be in the way. It is hardwired and ceiling mounted, runs on 110V-120V (US Household Standard), and has an integrated LED with no bulb to replace. It also works in rows along a hallway. Indoor dry locations only.
