Description
The Freya is a small round travertine shade on a walnut fitting, hung on a cord. At under six inches across it is deliberately modest, which makes it useful in the places a larger pendant will not go: over a bedside table, in a corner, above a narrow console, or in a row where you want repetition rather than one statement piece.
The stone is the point. Travertine is porous and tonally uneven, so the shade carries its own pitting and its own shifts from cream to sand. No two are marked the same way, and the walnut fitting warms it rather than competing with it.
The LED is built in and included, running between 6 and 10 watts, so there is no bulb to buy and no socket to match. It hangs from a cord that adjusts at installation, and it dims, which matters on a fixture this small where full output is rarely what you are after.
