Fonteva | Marble Cone & Copper 2-Light Wall Sconce

Fonteva is the two light sconce in the marble series, and it reads quite differently from the single shade fixtures beside it. Two copper arms arch out and over from a round wall plate, and each one carries a flared marble cone pointed down rather than up. That one decision changes the whole character: instead of a column of stone glowing upward, you get two pools of warm light thrown onto whatever is below, which is why this is the one that works over a mirror or a pair of framed prints rather than as a vertical accent.

It is also the widest fixture in the family at 17.3 in (44 cm) across, against 3.9 to 4.7 in for the single shade versions, so it wants a real stretch of wall. It stands 11.8 in (30 cm) tall and projects 9.4 in (24 cm) from the wall. Above a bathroom mirror, over a sideboard, or centered above a bed it fills the space properly. In a narrow hallway it will not.

The shades are cut from quarried marble, so the veining in each one differs, and the arms and plate are copper, finished in copper or black. It takes two E26 medium base bulbs and they are included. Color temperature is chosen at checkout: 3000K warm, 4000K neutral or 6000K cool. It wires directly into the wall and runs on 110V-120V (US Household Standard). It is not rated for wet locations, so keep it clear of showers and tubs.
