The Elin is a small drum that sits flat against the ceiling, banded in dark walnut above and pale travertine below. It is built for rooms where headroom is the constraint rather than the ambition, and at under six inches deep it takes almost nothing away.
The two materials are the whole idea. Travertine brings a soft mineral texture with visible pitting; walnut brings depth and a warmer, darker tone above it. Light leaves through the diffuser underneath, so what you see from below is a lit disc with a band of stone and timber above it rather than a bright shade.
